Lee Zeitouni Murder Suspect Convicted of French Fraud

Arik Rubik, suspected in the 2011 hit-and-run death of Lee Zeitouni in Tel Aviv was sentenced, over the weekend in Paris, to 18 months in jail on a fraud conviction. The case involved 35,000 Euro taken from seafood dealers via identity theft and other fraud.

Rubik was arrested shortly after he fled to France to avoid the Israeli charges. The court ordered him to pay 21,000 Euro in compensation.
