Notes Removed from Western Wall for Passover

In preparation for next week's Passover holiday, notes stuck by people in between the stones of the Western Wall of the Temple in Jerusalem's Old City were removed, Sunday morning. They will be put in the Jewish archive known as geniza.

Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovich of the Western Wall and Holy Places has ordered the placement of blossoming fruit trees in the Western Wall Plaza to allow festival pilgrims to perform the Bircat Ha'ilanot blessing of the trees, one of the practices of the Jewish month of Nissan.
