A ceremony was held, Sunday, to dedicate a Torah scroll that was donated to the Hadassah hospitals in Jerusalem, in memory of Yehudit Mani. Ms. Mani bequeathed a sizable sum to the hospital's maternity ward. Her family and the Antebi family also combined for a donation of advanced equipment for the hospital's fertility program and the Torah scroll.
Among those taking part in the ceremony was Ashkenazic Chief Rabbi David Lau, who wished the hospitals success in getting out of its financial troubles. He likened each hospital room to a synagogue.
