Residents of the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ein Kerem succeeded in sealing up a historic abandoned building that Arab squatters had taken over. Jerusalem city council member Aryeh King (United Jerusalem) told Arutz Sheva news on Wednesday that the property belongs to the municipality. He stated that the Ein Kerem neighborhood receives many tourists and the property in question is located next to a tourist site. "I hope that now the municipality will maintain and develop the site," he added.
