Tourist Suffers from Allergy Attack; Dies in Jerusalem

Lydia Lavoshan, a South African woman’s visit to Israel has come to a screeching halt when she suffered an untimely death.

Lavoshan died today (Tuesday) in Jerusalem’s Shaarei Tzedek Hospital of an allergic reaction after having ordered a fish dish with tahini at a local restaurant.

Lavoshan ordered the dish, unaware that tahini is made of sesame, a substance she was extremely allergic to.
