Attacks in Iraq Kill 16

Sixteen people were killed, Sunday, in three terror attacks in Iraq, according to Arab media.

Police said seven were killed when attackers opened fire on a checkpoint near the city of Mosul, 362 kilometers/225 miles northwest of Baghdad. The detonation of an explosive-laden car near Ramadi city, 129 kilometers/70 miles west of Baghdad, killed five and wounded seven. A bomb at the entrance of an out-door market in the southern Baghdad suburb of Youssifiyah killed four and wounded nine.
