Perceived Millionaire Pleads Poverty

A nasty divorce squabble surrounds the question of fact or fiction- is the estranged husband and father a millionaire like his former wife claims, or does he earn less than 20,000 Shekels a month?

The Kiryat Shmona judicial system is attempting to determine just that.

The wife claims that her husband’s company earns millions of Shekels each year, and that the family lived very well-off until her husband began an affair with another woman. The husband, on the other hand, claims that the financial situation has taken a heavy toll on his revenues, and that 20,000 Shekels a month in alimony and child support would shove him into a debt-filled ditch he would never be able to climb out of on his own.
