The son of Ami Popper gave a rare interview to Arutz Sheva news on Wednesday regarding the pending release of Arab terrorist prisoners. Popper has been serving a 40-year prison serve for killing seven Arabs in 1990. He told police at the time that his actions stemmed from being gang-raped by Arabs when he was a boy.
The young Avraham Yitzchak Popper compared his father's case to that of the Arab terrorists who are set to be released stating that unlike the terrorists, his father has expressed regret for his actions.
On Wednesday hundreds protested in front of the Prime Minister's residence against the prisoner release which is part of the ongoing negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.
