Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are scheduled to perform in Israel this spring. The Greek-Belgian brothers were ranked sixth best DJ performers according to the most recent DJ Magazine annual poll. They regularly perform for huge crowds including a past concert in Israel in 2013.
Israel is considered a must-stop spot for top-rated electronica and dance musicians, with it's own homegrown genre of Israeli trance. The duo is the latest in a series of popular international music acts who have flocked to Israel in recent years, in contrast to the years 2000-2002 when performances and sporting events were cancelled due to terrorism and political considerations.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will perform at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds on May 6th. Opening acts will include Nicolaz, a Belgium-based DJ who finished a 5-day Purim concert tour of Israel two weeks ago performing in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Emek Hefer.
