Officers Behaved Badly; Boy to be Compensated $100,000

Ehud Halevy, a homeless New York Yeshiva student was brutalized six months ago by police officers as they attempted to remove him from the assistance center where he resided. When Halevy passively resisted being removed- he claimed he had permission to be where he was, the officers used force and brutalized the adolescent.

Now, the tables are turned and the courts have ordered the New York Police Department to compensate Halevy $100,000 for his pain and suffering.
