Diplomat: Strike Could Stop Reconciliation with Turkey

Avidan-Keener, Israel's Deputy Consul General in Istanbul, said, Sunday, that Monday's scheduled strike by Foreign Ministry workers could stop efforts by Israel to reconcile with Turkey over the blockade on Gaza and the deaths of nine people on the Turkish shop Mavi Marmara.

Interviewed on the Knesset Channel, Avidan-Keener said the conciliation process, which started in 2011, will come to a complete stop. He explained, "We won't deal with the process during the strike."
