MK Levin Unfazed by Hareidi Threats

Coalition chairman MK Yariv Levin (Likud) was unfazed on Thursday by the hareidi parties’ threats that they will support Labor leader Yitzchak Herzog as Prime Minister instead of Binyamin Netanyahu.

“The hareidi public has a greater affinity to us than to the left, but they were never reluctant to follow us into the opposition and they also did not hesitate to join leftist-led governments,” Levin told Arutz Sheva. “Remember, the Oslo Accords would not have come been possible were it not for Shas. When we struggled against the Disengagement plan, I will not forget that the hareidim abandoned us.”
