The pound sterling was set at 5.7519 shekels, down .079 percent, while 100 Japanese yen fell .217 percent to NIS 3.3998. The Canadian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.0919, down .219 percent, while its Australian counterpart slumped .596 percent to 3.1378 shekels. The Norwegian krone was set at .5738 shekels, down 1.035, and the South African rand plunged 1.548 percent to NIS .3179.
