The pound sterling was fixed at 5.765 shekels, down .358 percent, while 100 Japanese yen climbed 1.146 percent to NIS 3.4153. The Canadian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.1311, up .058 percent, while its Australian counterpart fell .213 percent to 3.132 shekels. The Norwegian krone was set at .5804 shekels, down .922 percent, and the South African rand advanced .031 percent to NIS .3222.
