The Tzohar rabbinical organization is scheduled to hold readings of the Book of Esther at 200 locations throughout the country on Purim, the Feast of Esther, Saturday evening through Monday. A list of locations appears on the organization's Facebook page.
It's the fourth year that Tzohar is organizing the readings. The goal is to bring the atmosphere of the holiday to a variety of secular and religious Israelis and allow them to feel the tradition of Israel. There will be special readings for the hearing impaired via simultaneous translation into sign language.
