The pound sterling was set at 5.7857 shekels, up .516 percent, while 100 Japanese yen declined .08 percent to NIS 3.3766. The Australian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.1393, up 1.202 percent, while its Canadian counterpart advanced .288 percent to 3.1293 shekels. The Norwegian krone was set at .5858 shekels, up .965 percent, and the South African rand climbed 1.385 percent to NIS .3221.
