Director of Lehava Interrogated for Incitement by Hevron Police

Director of the Lehava Organization, Bentzi Gopstein, was interrogated by the Hevron police under suspicion of threats and incitement following a Facebook status he posted.

The Facebook posting was a response to Minister Naftali Bennett's call to bring  the Arab sector into the hi-tech world.  "That's the difference between Bennett and me," Gopstein wrote, "I would prefer to bring them into the next world."

Following the interrogation, Gopstein was released on bail. "Shai Nitzan (the State Attorney) has outdone himself. I would suggest that the Israeli police concern themselves with street crime, and not endeavor to be Shai Nitzan's  'thought police'", Gopstein said following his release.
