Police Close Case Against Girls Accused of Attacking Arab for Lack of Evidence

Jerusalem police have decided to close the investigation in the attack on an Arab in the light rail by several young Jewish girls for lack of evidence. In an interview with Arutz Sheva, their attorney, Yitzhak Bam, offered harsh criticism of how both police and media conduct in the case.

"In reality, this incident is a microcosm of everything that has been happening here for the last twenty or thirty years," Bam stated. He said the reality is that the Arabs are lying and the media blows it out of proportion in order to sell a story, but that when the facts are actually checked into, there is nothing to back it up.

Bam pointed out that the police had the proof from the beginning from security footage, showing that the Arab woman had been the one who had approached the Jewish girls, and provoked the fracas.
