Hamas Changes Reported Impact Location of Drone

The Al-Rai news agency, run by Gaza's Islamist rulers, Hamas, said, Tuesday, that an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intelligence drone came down east of the southern city of Khan Yunis, according to Agence France Presse. Earlier, Al-Rai reported that the pilotless aircraft came down east of the city of Rafah, on the Egyptian border to the south.

Hamas's armed wing, the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, said its fighters had retrieved the drone, which the IDF said crashed due to a technical malfunction. The incident was followed by an Israeli air strike, also east of Khan Yunis, which killed three Islamic Jihad fighters, both sides said.
