The Knesset Interior and Environmental Protection Committee approved, Monday, an order by Public Safety Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch to enter Tel Aviv and 15 other cities and local councils into a pilot program of municipal policing. The additional communities are: Akko, Araba, Ashdod, El'ad, Gedera, Herzliya, Kfar Saba, Kiryat Ata, Nesher, Ohr Yehuda, Pardes Hana, Rosh Ha'ayin, Shefar'am, Tzfat (Safed) and Yavneh.
