Housing Minister Uri Ariel said, Sunday evening, that the Jews of Judea and Samaria (Shomron) have to show everyone they intend to continue, progress and not stop along their path, even when there are victims. Speaking at a memorial in the yeshiva of the Samarian Jewish community of Itamar to mark the third anniversary on the Hebrew calendar of the murder of five members of Itamar's Fogel family, the Jewish Home Knesset member said the community was an example of what he said, asking, "Are there more students? Yes there are. Are there more families? Yes there are. Is Itamar breaking out to the west and to the east? Yes."
Referring to the consequences of a peace agreement with the Palestinian Authority, Ariel continued, "I say, on this stage, that not one Jewish community in Judea and Samaria will be uprooted." He added, "and west of the Jordan to the [Mediterranean] sea, there will be one state alone and it's the state of Israel."
