PM: No to Any Peace Deal Threatening Israeli Security

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Friday, that he will reject any peace deal that does not meet Israel's needs and threatens its security, even if they try to impose it on him.

Asked by Kol Yisrael government radio about the possibility of a unilateral Israeli withdrawal from Judea and Samaria (Shomron) if negotiations with the Palestinian Authority fail, he said it was preferable not to get to that stage. He noted that, until now, unilateral withdrawals have not justified themselves and have not provided stability and security.
