Chabad to Hold Megillah Reading at Old Train Station

Chabad of Baka will hold a Purim Megillah reading at the Tahana Rishona (First Station) in Jerusalem. The old Turkish-built station is over 100 years old and was refurbished this year with coffee shops and restaurants with the original train tracks and other infrastructure still intact. The Purim event follows a successful Chanukah candle lighting ceremony at the location. A free concert featuring Chaim David, a well-known Jewish singer from the Old City of Jerusalem will take place as well. There will be two readings of the Megillah (Book of Esther) one at 6:00 p.m. and one at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday March 16th. For more information click here.
