The attorney for murder suspect Hagai Felician sent a request to the Tel Aviv District Court for him to be released to house arrest. Felician was arrested in 2013 on suspicion of shooting two youth at the Bar Noar center in Tel Aviv in 2009. The lawyer says that last week's findings indicate that Felician may not guilty and provide a basis for a new criminal investigation.
New evidence reportedly came to light regarding the state’s main witness in the case. The witness has been arrested, and may be charged with interfering with an investigation. Details of the suspicions against him have not been made public.
