The late Private First Class Leonard Kravitz was posthumously awarded a Medal of Honor on Sunday, along with 23 other American military veterans. He was the uncle of today's Lenny Kravitz, a Grammy Award winning musician who was named in his memory. The medals were giving to soldiers who may have been overlooked for honors due to ethnic or religious background, specifically Jewish or Hispanic Americans. Pfc. Kravitz was killed in action during Korean War in 1951. He is credited with saving his platoon from an oncoming attack.
