Prison Shooting Victim Fights for Life as Probes Open

Hilal Bisan of the Prisons Service, who was critically wounded in Sunday's shooting at the Rimon Prison, continued to fight for his life, Monday morning, at Meir Hospital in nearby Kfar Sava, northeast of Tel Aviv. The two other victims suffered light and moderate wounds. Bisan's 32-year-old brother was killed in the Carmel Ridge Fire in December 2010.

The Prisons Service and the police have set up separate teams to clarify how prisoner Samuel Sheinbein managed to get the gun he used in the shooting before he was killed by guards.
