Germany: Man Arrested on Suspicion of Selling Iran Goods for Weapons Program

Germany has arrested a man of Iranian origin under suspicion of selling goods to Iran that could be used in its weapons program. The prosecutor's office in Berlin issued a statement saying that the 62-year-old businessman had been arrested in Bonn.

The 62-year-old suspect is thought to have purchased 230,000 euros worth of manufacturing equipment, sending to Iran via a neighboring Arab country, in order to circumvent the sanctions on Teheran.
