Iran's Rouhani: Your Sanctions are Warmongering Tactics

Iran President Hassan Rouhani attacked the sanctions being imposed against his country, claiming that these are violent acts being committed in the name of the war on terror, and in essence, exist to exert pressures that only serve to hurt the everyday citizen and promote the violation of human rights.

Rouhani said that these sanctions were equivalent to warmongering, and served only to light a fire, He then stressed the importance of reaching an understanding with Islamic countries, in order to forge a common strategy as being an essential part of solving problems between them.

Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Mohammad Ali Jafari, warned that "the enemy" is considering an air strike with missiles on sensitive areas, like nuclear facilities," adding that the Iranian Army was aware of 'the enemy's" plans, and would frustrate all their attempts, "because the enemy fears a drawn-out ground war."
