Workers to Hold 'Sleep-In' Throughout Hadassah

Striking Hadassah employees are planning, as their next move, to hold a 'sleep-in' throughout Hadassah. The workers have stated that this will serve not only as a wake-up call to Hadassah's management, but will also serve as a final wake-up call to the Ministry of Finance.

Tomorrow will mark the 19th day salaries are being withheld from the hospital employees.  Nursing and housekeeping staff, resepectively, have up to this juncture only received half of their January salaries. As a result, many of the families have been undergoing great difficulties in meeting basic financial obligations, like mortgage payments, daily expenses, school fees, transportation costs, etc.
