Four members of a Syrian Christian family were stabbed to death, Monday, in the northern Egyptian city of Alexandria. The victims were the 44-year-old man of the house, who worked at a hotel in Sharm Ash-Sheikh, his 43-year-old sister, his 35-year-old wife and their six-year-old son. A fire was started in the kitchen and witnesses say they saw a man leaving with a black bag.
An Egyptian security source said the incident was criminal in nature. The country's 10-million-member Christian community has been under attack in recent years.
