The Jerusalem light rail is scheduled to suspend service between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Monday, between Ammunition Hill and Mount Herzl, due to a police exercise on the lines. At the end of the drill, the light rail is scheduled to return gradually to full service.
To make up for the loss in service, the Egged bus cooperative will extend lines 13Aleph, 20, 23, 24, 27 and 27Aleph to the Central Bus Station from the direction of Mount Herzl and operate line 79 through the center of town between the Central Bus Station and Ammunition Hill. Certain streets may be blocked, causing disruptions in the bus service.
More information is available through the Jerusalem municipal switchboard (106) or the Kol Kav switchboard (*8787).
