Today's (Sunday) forecast calls for partly cloudy skies. The rain that has been falling throughout Israel this weekend are expected to dissipate by evening. During the day, there is still an alert for possible flooding in the east and south. Tonight is expected to be partly cloudy and cold.
On Monday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected, with skies to remain partly cloudy. Tuesday will be fair to parly cloudy, with another slight rise in temperatures. On Wednesday another rise in temperatures is expected. It is of note that since the mid-December storm, almost no precipitation has fallen here; the drought has been felt primarily in the areas surrounding major natural water sources in the country such as the drainage basin at Lake Kinneret and the Galilee Mountain Basin.
