Today's Meeting to Decide on Arbiv-Pinto Affair

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein will be holding an important meeting at his offices today to decide the status of the Pinto-Arbiv case--if a formal investigation will be opened up against Menashe Arbiv of the Lahav-422 National Crime Unit, and whether or not to file an criminal indictment against Rabbi Yeshayahu Pinto, pending a hearing.

At the meeting between Weinstein and the head of the National Police Investigations Unit of the Ministry of Justice, it will be decided whether or not to close the investigation of Arbiv, who retired from his position with the police, and the possibility of the signing of a plea bargarin agreement with Rabbi Pinto.
