Attorney General Expected to Order Probe of Arbiv

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein, State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan and the chief of the Police Investigative Unit are expected to decide whether or not to open a criminal investigation of Menashe Arbiv, who resigned, Sunday, as commander of the Lahav 433 unit, which is charged with investigating corruption and national-level crimes.

It has been alleged that Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto attempted to bribe Arbiv. Police sources expect Weinstein to order an investigation.
