Millions of dollars are going to exchange hands in a developing deal between Israel and Turkey wherein Israel will pay $20,000 in damages to the families of those terrorists who were killed on the Marmara flotilla In return, all charges against the IDF soldiers involved will be dropped.
Although it is a lot of money, it is far less than what Turkey was originally demanding at the outset of the negotiations. However, as an additional condition, Israel has also demanded that Turkey not oppose Israel's status being upgraded with NATO.
