Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman addressed an economic gathering in Tel Aviv on Friday. Regarding talks with the Palestinian Authority he said, "I'm for an agreement. I'm against being a sucker. Agreements like the Disengagement, transferring land and tearing the people apart, then getting hit by missiles, that won't happen."
Regarding criticism of the efforts of Secretary of State John Kerry of the United States, Liberman said, "Kerry is a true friend of Israel. He is leading the process correctly and has the right to a different opinion than [Minister] Naftali Bennett." He added, "Bennett has comments on everything. I see him running to microphones but he's not running to the opposition."
