Speaking at Bar Ilan University this morning (Thursday), Minister of Justice Tzipi Livni became highly critical of some of her colleagues, calling them "hypocrites". During the Law Faculty Breakfast, attacked various ministers, but without specifically referring to them by name, saying that they were unwilling to make the necessary concessions in order to achieve peace.
"We all want peace. But there is a price to be paid for this, and those who truly want peace have to be ready to pay it. This is the choice we have to make: do we want a Jewish and democratic State, or the Land of Israel in its entirety - with no Jews and no democracy?", Livni said.
"The only way to preserve a Jewish, democratic State is solely through negotiations," she added.
