The Finance Committee will be holding an urgent meeting this coming Tuesday as regards the ongoing crisis with Hadassa Hospital. During the course of the discussions, government representatives will be asked to report to the committee as to the direction the government should take in dealing with the issue.
According to the committee chairman, MK Nissan Slomiansky (Jewish Home), "Jerusalem's healthcare system is collapsing. Hadassa is not just a leading hospital in the capital, but throughout the country, at a nationwide level."
"The State must intervene in this crisis - not just to make the hospital more efficient, but so that Jerusalemites will not be hurt by the city's hospitals inablity to address them when needed," he said.
