Arutz Sheva news received a copy of a notice instructing ministers in the Knesset not to travel on Route 443 due to fears of firebomb attacks. The document states that ministers should avoid the highway both during the day and at night.
"Due to increased incidents on Route 443, beginning immediately, do not travel on the road," the statement read adding that security services are seeking to alleviate the situation.
There have been a number of recent incidents of rock throwing and Molotov cocktail attacks. Last month, terrorists threw large bricks into the windshield of a vehicle carrying actors returns from a performance along Route 443 causing extensive damage, and injuries.
