Prices on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange were down slightly in mixed trading on Monday morning. About 45 minutes into the session, the TA Composite Index stood at 1,204.00, down .03 percent, while the TA 100 slipped .04 percent to 1,201.40, including a drop of .13 percent to 1,298.62 by the TA 25 most-widely-invested issues. The stocks outside the TA 100 stood at 1,046.68, up .05 percent.
Leading the gainers was the biomed index, which rose .44 percent to 1,103.01 while the rest of the technology issues stood at 349.70, up .01 percent. The communications stocks edged up .05 percent to 694.82, and the real-estate index stood at 373.10, up .03 percent. The bank issues slipped .06 percent to 1,232.18 as the financial institutions stood at 1,197.02, down .24 percent, reflecting a loss of .62 percent to 1,437.08 by the insurance stocks. The oil and natural-gas stocks stood at 1,292.50, down .43 percent.
