Most of the indices on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange ended the trading week, Thursday, with modest losses. The TA Composite Index closed at 1,201.86, down three tenths of a percent, while the TA 100 declined .32 percent to 1,199.66, including a drop of .64 percent to 1,299.54 by the TA 25 most-widely-invested issues. The stocks outside the TA 100 stood at 1,041.21, down .21 percent.
Leading the gainers was the biomed index, which rose .41 percent to 1,091.09, while the rest of the technology issues stood at 349.09, up .13 percent. The real-estate stocks slipped .03 percent to 372.30, followed by the insurance index, which finished the day at 1,445.62, down .07 percent, as the financial institutions lost two tenths of a percent to 1,208.75, including a drop of .44 percent to 1,248.99 by the bank issues. The oil and natural-gas stocks stood at 1,257.57, down .24 percent, and the communications index fell .31 percent to 702.97.
