"It is more dangerous for Israel to hold onto land and continue to be in a political stalemate than to [give away land] and separate from the Palestinians," insisted Labor head and Leader of the Opposition Yitzhak Herzog. "We are approaching the point of no return beyond which separation will no longer be realistic."
"This situation will lead us through a long and difficult process, at the end of which we will have a binational state," he continued. "Over two million Palestinians live in the territories of the West Bank [Judea and Samaria - ed.]. They will not just leave and go away.
