Thousands of people accompanied Rabbi Yitzhak Landau, zt"l, to his final resting place. He was one of the revered rabbis at the Hevron Yeshiva in Jerusalem's Givat Mordechai neighborhood.
The Rabbi had become ill with cancer several years ago, and although he able achieve remission twice, the third bout with the disease was too much for him. This morning (Sunday) he returned his soul to its Creator.
The levaya (funeral) will begin this evening, at 7 o’clock, from the Yeshivat Hevron Alumni Bais Medrash in Bnei Brak and will then continue at the Hevron Yeshiva in Givat Mordechai.
