MK Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home) warned on Friday that leftist organizations were plotting to place illegal immigrants at Israeli kibbutzim. She was speaking at the Bet Eyal community center for handicappeds and IDF soldiers in northern Israel.
"Anyone who walks around in southern Tel Aviv feels like they came to Sudan. Between 2006 to 2012 there was a mass immigration of workers to Israel. The State slept and by the time it woke up, they arrived en masse. The border fence and Infiltration Law are what stopped the flow. The law does not allow them to work and they have no motivation. But you should be aware of the fact that one of the ideas that came from the left is to place them in kibbutzim," said Shaked.
"In addition, there are many human rights organizations in the country that receive money from European countries and that cannot diplomatically influence Israel, so they try to do so through NGOs. They help infiltrators get to Israel, help them while they are here and helped them with the recent protests," she added.
