      Poisoned Children Critical but Stable

Deputy Director of Schneider hospital Dr. Efrat Baron-Harlev told A7, "The Grossman children were cared for very well in Shaare Tzedek hospital, but we have special gear for pulmonary-respiratory recovery. The poison affected the unique cellular system of the heart and our equipment can keep the heart and lungs operating independently for up to three weeks while the blood and kidneys flush the toxins out of the body. There is room for careful caution; children tend to be very resilient and recover from nearly hopeless conditions."
