Musical Benefit for Rabbi Kook's Historic Home

The David Cardozo Academy in conjunction with Beit HaRav Kook will hold a musical benefit and evening of poetry and learning in the historic home of Israel's first chief rabbi Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kook. The benefit will feature Rabbi Dr. Nathan Lopes Cardozo and Professor Yehuda Gellman who will lecture on the life of Rabbi Kook. Rabbi Itzhik Marmorstein will perform Rabbi Kook's poetry backed by Greg Wall, a noted American-based jazz musician and rabbi. The band will also include well-known local musicians Shai Bachar, Yogev Glusman, Ilan Katche and Pesach Stadlin. The event will take place on Purim Katan, February 15th at Beit HaRav Kook in Jerusalem. Proceeds will benefit the upkeep of the 91-year-old building and go toward educational activities.
