Rabbi: A Little Bit of Torah Learning Saves the World

About 250 hareidi businessmen and holders of senior positions in America have come to Israel for four days of Torah lectures by hareidi leaders under the Agudat Yisrael America's 14th "Yareah Callah initiative.

On Monday evening, Rabbi Aharon Leib Shteinman, leader of the Lithuanian community, told the group about the importance of Torah study. Recognizing the group's efforts, he said, "When we see Jews of the whole world who come and try to learn Torah, even people who are busy making a living every day and still want to bring correction to a spoiled world and carry out the will of the Ruler of the universe not to spoil and destroy His world, one must know that every little bit of Torah that one learns saves the world. Otherwise the creation would get to a state of destruction."
