Deputy Education Minister MK Avi Wortzman (Jewish Home), a resident of Be'er Sheva, said Friday that Israel must respond to the rocket fire in recent days.
"This is an unacceptable reality that requires an immediate response," said Wortzman, adding, "The State of Israel must show zero tolerance for the rocket fire, whether it is a single rocket or six. A situation where hundreds of students cannot go to school and a million citizens are prisoners in a reality dictated by Hamas is inconceivable."
"The State of Israel must allow the army, which can carry out its tasks successfully, operate before there are casualties," added Wortzman.
