The pound sterling was set at 5.7051 shekels, down .26 percent, while 100 Japanese yen slipped .048 percent to NIS 3.3383. The Canadian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.1957, up .623 percent, while its Australian counterpart fell 1.297 percent to 3.0668 shekels. The Norwegian krone was set at .5664 shekels, down .579 percent, and the South African rand advanced .063 percent to NIS .3201.
