Officer Suspected of Receiving Benefits from R. Pinto

Judge Anna Schneider of the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court on Wednesday night partially lifted a gag order on a police investigation involving Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto, one of Israel’s most influential rabbis, and several senior police officers.

Arbiv has not yet been questioned in the matter, but announced Wednesday night that he would step down as the investigation continues.
